It's designed for a #5 wire tie and has an average pull strength of 150 lbs. It's approved for submerged bilge applications. Stop putting plywood in your hull just to have a place to drive wire tie screws. Saves material and labor costs!

Nice mount, but you can’t have a remote cover
I do like this mount, and it’s super easy to put on. Unfortunately this mount tries to be snug enough so that you cannot use if there is a cover on the remote.
